The Baltimore Orioles traded outfielder Taylor Ward to the Seattle Mariners, the team announced Monday. The Orioles received right-handed pitchers Alex Hoppe, Harrison Kreiling and Brock Moore in the trade. Kreiling, 24, recorded a 1.69 ERA in four starts in 2026 between the ACL Mariners and Single-A Inland Empire. The Orioles acquired Ward in a trade during the offseason that sent right-handed pitcher Grayson Rodriguez to the Los Angeles Angels. During his time with Baltimore, Ward had 101 hits, 30 runs batted in and seven home runs in 506 plate appearances.
