The Orioles made another trade on Monday sending outfielder Taylor Ward to the Seattle Mariners in exchange for three players. According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, the Orioles will be sending the 32-year-old outfielder to the Mariners for pitchers Alex Hoppe, Harrison Kreiling and Brock Moore. Ward, who the Orioles had traded for in the offseason for former pitcher Grayson Rodriguez, had struggled during his time with the Orioles. 23 ranked prospect in the 2025 Seattle Mariners top-30 prospect list.
