Proposed legislation by Baltimore County Councilman David Marks aims to regulate smoke shops within the county.
| RELATED: Baltimore City cracks down on smoke shops with sweeping new legislationThe bill prohibits smoke shops from operating within 1,000 feet of schools, certain treatment facilities, recreation centers, parks, and other smoke shops.
It also bans certain types of lighting displays in windows or around smoke shops.
“They don’t expect to see three or four smoke shops on one block of their neighborhood.”
