Jimmy Cricket, the beloved Irish comedian known for his TV roles on Bullseye and The Good Old Days, has died at the age of 80.
His family confirmed the news in a statement, and said that he passed away following a "short illness".
"Our beloved Jimmy passed away this morning after a short illness," reads the statement, which was shared on Instagram.
In 1985, he landed his own BBC series And There's More, which ran for 24 episodes until 1988.
Jimmy was a true professional, a great comedian and more importantly a beautiful man.
