The university announced it will play games against the University of Southern California (USC) every year from 2030 through 2033. Notre Dame will play USC in Los Angeles in 2030; the Trojans will come to South Bend in 2031. Since 1926, Notre Dame and USC have met 96 times, with the Irish holding a 53-38-5 all-time advantage. Marcus Freeman's personal record against USC is 3-1, having beat the Trojans by double-digits in the past three meetings.
