The historic college football rivalry between the USC Trojans and Notre Dame Fighting Irish will resume with a four-game series beginning in 2030, both programs announced on Monday. Following a multi-year pause, the rivalry will be reignited with a Week 1 matchup at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to open up the 2030 season. The following season, Notre Dame will host "college football's greatest intersectional rivalry" in South Bend. The Notre Dame-USC clashes in 2032 and 2033 will each take place sometime within the first three weeks of the season. Notre Dame leads the all-time series 51-37-5, with the first matchup dating back to 1926.
