Kemi Badenoch, MP for North West Essex, toured LPA Group in Saffron Walden, an electrical engineering company supplying components to the rail, aviation, industrial, infrastructure and defence sectors. During the visit, Kemi Badenoch was shown around the factory and spoke with staff working on the production line to learn more about the company's operations and the issues affecting manufacturers. Rt Hon Kemi Badenoch said: "It was great to visit the LPA Group, an electrical goods manufacturer in Saffron Walden. "Like so many businesses across North West Essex, the LPA Group is struggling with high energy costs, Labour’s Jobs Tax and burdensome regulations. Conservatives back business, we will cut energy bills, scrap business rates for hundreds of local businesses and repeal burdensome regulations.
