Vendors moved to the Vernon Recreation Centre on Monday because Kal Tire Place is being used as an Emergency Support Services reception centre for wildfire evacuees. Market manager Deanna Nicholls said in an online post that vendors are set up at the recreation centre from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Parking is available at the Vernon Performing Arts Centre, while food trucks are located in the curling rink parking lot. "We all came out and we would love if the community would come out to support us," Nicholls said.
