Llanfair Beach Camp Site on Penrhos Beach Road, Holyhead has made a full planning application calling for seven additional touring caravan pitches (total 14) together with associated works. Whilst another full application at Glan y Gors, Llanfaelog, lists a bid calling for 13 touring caravan pitches, in addition to five certified pitches, together with the erection of a toilet/shower block and the installation of a sewage treatment plant. A planning statement describes how the site has been operational as a touring caravan and camping site since 2007. It also says it is proposed to increase the number of touring caravan pitches on site from seven to 14, and that this “can be achieved without the need to re-arrange existing pitches on site. The Glan Y Gors bid has been made by AJ Carnall of Glan Y Gors Farm, through the agent Dafydd Edwards of Cynllun Plans Drawn.
