Go Safe, an organisation that includes the Welsh Government and Wales' emergency services, publishes the locations of all types of speed cameras. Speeding is one of the largest contributing factors to collisions on Welsh roads, according to the Go Safe partnership. The minimum penalties for those exceeding speed limits consist of a £100 fine and three points on their driving licence. Despite this carrying a charge, the advantage is that no penalty points will be added to the licence following course completion. Locations across Gwynedd and Anglesey will house mobile speed cameras this week.
