Snapchat has updated its content recommendation systems globally to eliminate videos created entirely by artificial intelligence from its Spotlight discovery tab. Under the newly enforced guidelines, Snapchat will no longer recommend or distribute financial rewards for videos that are generated completely through AI tools. While fully AI-generated video content will no longer receive algorithmic distribution or monetization opportunities, Snapchat clarified that creators may still utilize AI-driven tools for editing, enhancing, or refining human-made content.
