Galbi Korean Restaurant on Albert Road in Southsea was ordered to close immediately after Portsmouth City Council’s environmental health team discovered an active mouse infestation during a routine inspection on July 28. Mouse droppings were found on oven shelves, next to open food boxes, and under glasses in the bar area. "The premises were filthy, there was clear evidence of an active mouse infestation, and mouse droppings were discovered next to open food and even inside an oven." Officers also found an oriental cockroach floating in water at the bar and identified general cleanliness issues. The restaurant must remain closed until the health risk has been removed.
