The incident took place just after 8pm on Queensway Meadows in Newport and involved an e-bike and a car. Gwent Police said:"We received a report of a road traffic collision on Queensway Meadows, Newport at around 8.05pm on Friday 31 July. "The collision involved an e-bike and a car. "The cyclist has been taken to hospital for treatment; his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening." The section of Queensway Meadows affected by the collision is part of the A4810 and was closed between the Llanwern Bull and the Amazon roundabout.
