Train passengers urged not to travel after fire broke out next to rail tracks

The incident, which occurred in the Marshfield area between Cardiff Central and Newport, has disrupted services in both directions, with travel affected until at least 3pm on Tuesday, August 4.
Transport for Wales has advised that trains between Newport and Gloucester are cancelled, and delays of up to 60 minutes are expected on other services.
Transport for Wales tickets are being accepted by other train operators to help passengers complete their journeys.
Passengers can use Newport Bus services at no extra cost, including route 73 and X74 between Newport and Chepstow, and route 72 between Chepstow and Lydney.
