Newport Bus’s Route 45 and its Demand-Responsive Transport (DRT) service have been affected by the closure of Pye Corner to Boat Road, which is in place from the start to the end of service on Wednesday, August 5. Newport Bus said: "We are unable to serve RSPB Wetlands and Uskmouth Power station. "All journeys will start and end at Sports Village. A number of stops are affected by the closure, including Caswell Way, Newport Business Centre, Corporation Road, Lysaght Way, Spytty Park Footbridge, Halo Foods, and St Mary's Road.
