Onamusi Onadeko, who represented Ogun East Federal Constituency from 1999 to 2003. The former lawmaker was charged to court by the ICPC in 2017 over his alleged involvement in the award and execution of a N68.7 million contract. Delivering judgment, weekend in Abuja, Justice Chizoba Oji of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court rejected the defence's argument. The court further held that this position applies notwithstanding that such appointments may be temporary, fixed-term, or non-pensionable.
