More than two years after Amazon ordered a pilot for improv comedy series DINKS, the streamer has handed the project fronted by June Diane Raphael and Paul Scheer a greenlight. DINKS (Dual Income No Kids) comes from Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman. Canter, DINKS is produced by Kauffman’s Okay Goodnight, Lionsgate Television and Amazon MGM Studios. A previous version of DINKS – then called A Lot – with the same creative auspices, including Raphael, Scheer, Kauffman and Lionsgate, was set up at CBS in 2023 with a presentation as proof of concept.
