A superb Hannah Einbinder stars as Kris, a promising queer filmmaker who's landed her dream job of rebooting the classic slasher franchise Camp Miasma. Billy promises to answer her questions, but first wants to show Kris an early cut of Camp Miasma. The Camp Miasma arc is shot on grainy stock and looks like a worn VHS tape from a mid-'80s Blockbuster video. MubiTeenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma has persistent lulls that murder, nudity, and visual effects can't overcome.
