Dinton Pastures Country Park now offers two additional mobility scooters, bringing its total fleet to three and making the park more accessible for visitors who have difficulty walking long distances. Beth Rowland, councillor for South Lake ward, said: "I’ve been a mobility scooter user for a number of years. The scheme requires a one-time £25 registration fee, which covers an induction session and training to use the scooters safely. Councillor Mark Ashwell, executive member for economic development, sport, leisure and the arts, said: "We want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy Dinton Pastures and the outdoors. "Increasing the number of mobility scooters from one to three will help more people explore the park and spend time outdoors with family and friends."
