The fire at Milton Farm, in the Pembridge and Shobdon area in Herefordshire, close to the Powys border at Presteigne, broke out on Sunday evening with eight fire crews battling the flames at its height. A spokesperson said: "Working alongside crews from across the county, Ross was tasked with protecting the surrounding area of the building, helping to prevent the fire from spreading while firefighting operations continued." Homes and businesses in the surrounding area were also told to keep all windows and doors closed due to smoke.
