Powys County Council's (PCC) highways department has announced that work to resurface the B4355 in Dolfor will necessitate a diversion of more than 50 miles. The temporary road closure along the B4355 from Dolfor towards Felindre will be in place for five days, from Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14. The road closure will be in place for 24 hours each day. Motorists will be diverted along the A483 to Crossgates, the A44 to Penybont, then the A488 towards Knighton, before rejoining the B4355 – or vice versa. PCC says residential access will be maintained via the diversion, while emergency vehicle access will also be maintained.
