According to the Dorset Rural Crime teams, a community resolution was issued to a 19-year-old male after he admitted killing wild birds using a catapult and posting videos of the incidents on social media. A Community Resolution was also issued to a 55-year-old male after he admitted destroying a bat roost during a building project. "On Wednesday evening, officers joined colleagues from Wiltshire Police for a cross-border operation following a number of reported breaks in the rural areas of Gillingham and Mere. "Your intelligence plays a vital role in helping us prevent and detect crime across Dorset's rural areas."
