In a Facebook post, PC Bigland from New Forest Police, said: "Yesterday, the Ringwood team also seized a van for no insurance on the A31. "We were aware of reports of a vehicle snooping around driveways, possibly to steal metal. "We will proactively deal with any criminality coming into Ringwood, so let us know!" The New Forest Police form part of the the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary and have policing teams in Lymington, the New Forest Heart, New Milton, Ringwood, Totton and Waterside. Each team also has a Facebook page where they regularly post policing updates which can be found on the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary website.
