The Damerham & District Horticultural Society held its summer show on Saturday, July 25, as part of the Damerham Fair. The show was hosted in the main marquee packed with exhibits, despite the difficult growing conditions in the weeks beforehand. Jane Hall presenting the Allenford Cup to Mary Ford. Mary Ford clinched both the Allenford Cup, for the most points in the vegetable classes, and the Banksian Medal as the overall winner in the horticultural classes.
