Mark Douglas Lowe, aged 47, appeared at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday, July 31 to be sentenced for two charges of fraud by false representation with a further six offences taken into consideration when sentenced. Mark Douglas Lowe, mechanic from Poole scammed 20 customers across England out approximately £22,000. The victim paid £250 cash upfront and never received the parts or responses to calls and messages made to the Lowe. He attended and advised cash was needed upfront in order to purchase new parts, with the victim paying £500 in cash, Lowe again never supplied the parts. Lowe was prosecuted for seven Trading Standards offences including fraud by false representation, fraudulent trading and aggressively pursuing a customer.
