Guests at The Alfond Inn can now experience a fresh selection of contemporary artwork as the Rollins Museum of Art unveils its annual reinstallation of the hotel’s permanent art collection. The Alfond Inn is believed to be the only hotel in the United States designed as an extension of an art museum. Curated by the Rollins Museum of Art, the rotating installations transform the hotel’s public spaces into an accessible gallery featuring works from the museum’s permanent collection. “Our partnership with The Alfond Inn allows us to extend the reach of the Museum’s collection beyond our walls.” The Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art includes more than 600 works displayed between the museum on the Rollins College campus and the hotel.
