“A new temporary pedestrian footpath has been installed, and a pedestrian footbridge has been successfully lifted into place. The bridge is being rebuilt in three phases to keep traffic moving for most of the project. In phase two, traffic will be diverted onto the newly built section while the existing bridge is demolished and the remaining structure completed. Pedestrian access is being maintained throughout, with a temporary footpath and footbridge linking nearby public rights of way around the perimeter of the site.
