According to police, a call was received at around 8.20pm on Thursday, July 9, reporting an animal cruelty incident on Barnetts Lane in Kidderminster. A post shared on social media alleged that a woman had been seen 'beating' her dog and that West Mercia Police and the RSPCA had been made aware of the incident. After being asked for an update on the investigation by the Kidderminster Shuttle today (Monday, August 3), a West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "This is still under investigation." "Anyone with first-hand information should contact the RSPCA or the police."
