Celebrating the centenary of Welwyn Garden City station, the event will be held in Howardsgate on Saturday, August 8. The railway experience, operated by All Aboarders, will run from 11am until 4pm. Lynda Cowan, chair of All Aboarders, promised a "It's sure to be a great day for family fun." Further centenary celebrations are planned from September 26 to October 3, with an exhibition in the Howard Centre detailing the station's history and showcasing career opportunities within the railway industry. The exhibition is a collaboration between All Aboarders, Together for WGC, and Siemans.
