FARGO, ND – As Minnesota voters prepare for the upcoming Aug. 11 primary election, political dynamics across the state are reaching a boiling point. John Hinderaker, president of the conservative think tank Center of the American Experiment, offered his analysis of key primary matchups and shifting voter sentiment on The FLAG, Monday. Highlighting the marquee contests, Hinderaker pointed to a fierce DFL Senate primary battle between Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan and U.S. Representative Angie Craig. Hinderaker noted that Craig, who historically presented a moderate facade to her district, has increasingly positioned herself to the left to appeal to primary voters. “We at American Experiment are in favor of economic development,” Hinderaker emphasized.
