Osaka man, 79, arrested for slaying coworker with replica swordOSAKA (TR) – Osaka Prefectural Police have arrested a 79-year-old construction worker for allegedly murdering a colleague with a replica sword over an ongoing dispute at their company dormitory, reports Fuji News Network (Aug. 3). At around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, Takashi Ito walked into a local police station and told officers, “I might have killed someone.” According to police, Ito attacked 52-year-old Kazuhiko Onimaru inside the employee dormitory where they both lived in Osakasayama City. “His everyday attitude and behavior were bad, so I went to complain to him,” Ito told investigators. “I lost my temper, grabbed a replica sword, and went to stab him.”
