Among the key projects was a newly constructed 200-bed building at Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College and Hospital, Chamba, along with the foundation stone-laying for roads worth approximately Rs 175 crore. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that work on expanding the road network in Chamba district is currently underway. Today, roads worth Rs 175 crore were inaugurated and foundation stones laid in Chamba district, along with the foundation stone-laying for a parking facility to be built for Rs 32 crore. The Chief Minister added that a new 200-bed building constructed at Rs 198 crore at the medical college was also dedicated to the public. He further stated that all outdated machines at Chamba Medical College will be replaced with new, high-quality, technologically advanced equipment.
