The V/H/S anthology horror series continues its theme era with V/H/S/Mixtape, this time applying its found-footage frights to the world of music. As you might guess, this means several of the creators this time around have strong musical ties, including RZA and Flying Lotus. Also, filmmaker Renee Zhan will have an entry featuring original puppets by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, a first for the V/H/S series. There’s also a music video by debut filmmaker Tobias Forge, best known as the ominous Pope-esque frontman of Swedish metal band Ghost. The V/H/S series has been around since 2012 but has found new creative energy with its current home on horror streaming platform Shudder.
