For more than a decade, Congress has demonstrated that despite some political differences, it can come together to strengthen America’s infrastructure through the Water Resources Development Act. America’s inland waterways are one of our greatest competitive advantages. Those investments depend on confidence that America’s infrastructure will continue to support efficient movement of agricultural products. The House and Senate have already demonstrated that the tradition remains intact by advancing bipartisan WRDA legislation this year. Passing a strong, bipartisan WRDA in 2026 is one of them.
