Another week means another round of road projects across the Sioux Empire, and several of them are getting underway today. Starting Monday, August 3, West 26th Street will be reduced to one lane between Sertoma Avenue and Marion Road. North K Avenue and North M Avenue will also be closed between West Blackhawk Street and West Cherokee Street. Traffic will not be allowed past the intersection of 20th Street and Ninth Avenue while crews work on underground utilities, concrete surfacing, sidewalks and street lighting. And finally, starting Wednesday, August 5, North Career Avenue will close from Terry Avenue north of the HUB at Southeast Technical College.
