Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) has taken a major step ahead of the 20th Asian Games, set to take place in Aichi and Nagoya, Japan. Bangladesh plans to send athletes to compete in a total of 26 disciplines. While neighboring South Asian powerhouse India is rapidly consolidating its international sports standing, Bangladesh’s long history at the Asian Games yields a limited tally of success. Disciplines Bangladesh Plans to Participate In:Team & Traditional Sports: Cricket, Football, Hockey, Kabaddi, Beach Handball, Basketball, and Rugby.
