PEMBROKE, N.Y. — A tractor-trailer carrying yogurt caught fire along the Thruway Sunday afternoon near the Pembroke exit. A viewer sent News10NBC photos, where you can see the trailer smoking and melted around the rear wheels. State Police say preliminary investigations show the cause may be due to the brakes. No citations were issued, and the driver didn’t report any injuries, according to State Police. Westbound lanes were closed for a time to allow for cleanup and vehicle removal.
