Dr Shaibu, who led members of the NAOWA National Executive Council on the visit, congratulated Mrs Oluyede on her assumption of office as DEPOWA President. She also acknowledged her contributions as the immediate past NAOWA President, describing her tenure as one that left a lasting impact on the association. The NAOWA President also stressed the need for closer collaboration between both associations to improve the welfare of military, police and other security families. Responding, Mrs Oluyede praised Dr Shaibu for ensuring continuity and strengthening NAOWA through initiatives aimed at improving thelives of members. She reaffirmed DEPOWA’s commitment to working closely with NAOWA in advancing welfare, empowerment and sustainable development across the security community.
