IHI Power Services has been rebranded as Kyuden Energy Partners by its new Japanese owners and aims to help meet the surging U.S. demand for reliable electricity generation. The company’s sale to Kyuden International was announced in March. Kyuden International Strengthens Local FirmDabbene said Kyuden International’s backing “strengthens our organization, broadens our reach and deepens the resources behind every project we take on.” Kyuden Energy Partners says it has a “stronger foundation” under the new owners. Foreign direct investment into U.S. utilities reached $16 billion in 2024 per the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, part of a growing global commitment to energy infrastructure investment.
