A 20-Year Time CapsuleWhen the WD Detailing team cracked open the manual garage door, they were greeted by a stunning, albeit filthy, time capsule: a custom pink-and-white 1988 Monte Carlo.
The 1988 model year represented the absolute grand finale for the fourth-generation Monte Carlo, and marked the very last time the iconic nameplate would feature a rear-wheel-drive layout.

Two months after taking the car, the team trailered the shining Monte Carlo back to Le Pair in Detroit.
“I see speakers man… Y’all did too much man,” an overwhelmed Le Pair said through tears, hugging the crew.
