Microsoft announced in late June that it would once again raise the price of its Xbox Series X|S consoles worldwide due to storage and memory price increases. We didn’t know about the new UK and EU prices until now, and the price bump is quite massive. Overall, we’re looking at £130/€150 price increases for the Xbox Series S 512GB (+43%), and up to £170/€200 price increases for 1TB models (+33%). The model with a disc drive is priced at £569.99/€649.99, which is still cheaper than the Xbox Series X with a disc drive. In June, Microsoft announced that it was “working with retail partners on new programs to provide previously played consoles at lower prices.”
