A fire that broke out Sunday morning at the Suwannee Lumber Mill in Cross City was contained to the facility’s dry kiln and no injuries were reported. According to a Dixie County Fire Rescue (DCFR) release sent Monday morning, firefighters were dispatched to the mill at approximately 9 a.m. on Sunday after receiving reports of a fire involving the dry kiln.
