OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma could be named to host a “nuclear lifecycle innovation” campus that would be a key component in a major new national investment in nuclear energy, U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright announced Tuesday. The Department of Energy identified Oklahoma, Idaho, Louisiana, Tennessee and Utah as finalists after 26 states showed interest in hosting campuses.
