The offering includes standard and Micro Single Stock Futures linked to a growing selection of US-listed companies. CME Group currently lists Single Stock Futures on more than 50 US companies in two contract sizes. The new contracts extend a US business that now includes retail futures trading, institutional clearing, prediction markets and services for active trading firms. The group later launched a retail futures platform, increased its institutional clearing activity and signed agreements with trading and evaluation businesses serving futures traders. Chief Executive David Zruia said the Single Stock Futures launch builds on growth across these non-OTC operations.
