Dr. Dadi Prakashmaniji, a revered spiritual leader of the Brahma Kumaris, to promote a healthy, addiction-free society and encourage voluntary blood donation. He appreciated the Brahma Kumaris for taking the initiative to launch the nationwide pledge campaign and for spreading the message of peace, self-discipline and spiritual empowerment. The Governor also inaugurated the Universal Brotherhood Blood Donation Drive, describing voluntary blood donation as one of the noblest acts of humanitarian service. Many participants also took part in the blood donation drive organised as part of the programme. The twin initiatives aim to mobilise citizens towards a nationwide movement against addiction while promoting the spirit of universal brotherhood through voluntary blood donation.
