Sonos will unveil a new product in September, with chief executive Tom Conrad strongly hinting the launch will centre on AI and smarter whole-home control. He stopped short of confirming whether the announcement would involve a new speaker, upgraded voice assistant or wider software platform. Sonos already offers its own Voice Control platform, although its capabilities are largely limited to music and speaker commands. Sonos shares plunged almost 18% following its latest results, despite quarterly revenue rising 8.8% to US$375.3 million and adjusted earnings reaching US$0.27 per share. Asia Pacific revenue increased from US$17.8 million to US$22.7 million, suggesting demand across Australia and the wider region is improving.
