Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC), founded by the Qatar Foundation (QF), opened the eighth and largest edition of its flagship ‘My Career – My Future’ job-shadowing programme with a ceremony at Multaqa, Education City. Running from August 2–6, the five-day programme brings together 350 high school students and a record 33 host organisations. Following the ceremony, students attended two orientation and training sessions designed to provide the theoretical grounding and practical readiness needed to make the most of the job-shadowing experience. In addition to the youth, Qatar Career Development Center targets a diverse group of individual and organisational stakeholders collectively referred to as the influencers of youth.
