Oman has exempted citizens of more than 100 countries and territories from entry visa requirements for stays of up to 14 days, as part of efforts to facilitate tourism and enhance visitor services.
According to Omani authorities, the countries benefiting from the exemption are divided into two groups, with separate eligibility criteria.
The visa-free stay is limited to 14 days and cannot be extended or converted into any type of residence visa.
Citizens of GCC member states, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, do not require a visa to enter Oman.
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) continues to manage visa procedures for travellers who require entry visas.
