The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) will introduce a one-off Farm Business Resilience Support grant provided under the capability upgrading component of the Agri-Food Cluster Transformation Fund. The agency said it will be separate from the one-off cash grant for small and medium-sized enterprises announced by the Ministry of Finance on 29 July, which eligible farms may also receive. Local farms must hold a valid farm license as of 1 August and have contributed to domestic fibre or protein production to qualify. Eligible fibre production includes leafy vegetables, fruited vegetables, mushrooms, and bean sprouts, whilst protein production covers hen-shell eggs and seafood. The agency’s account managers will contact eligible farms with further information in August, it added.
