(Photo courtesy Town of Smithfield)SMITHFIELD, N.C. — Smithfield’s annual National Night Out celebration has been rescheduled after Tuesday’s event was postponed. The free community event will now be held Saturday, Aug. 15, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Smithfield Community Park, located at 600 M. Durwood Stephenson Parkway. National Night Out 2025 at Smithfield Community Park. Representatives from the Smithfield Police Department, Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Smithfield Fire Department, Johnston County EMS, Johnston County Animal Services, Selma Police Department, Selma Fire Department, and other community organizations are expected to participate.
